NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
CHANGE OF MEETING DAY - the u3a Gosport Philosophy Group will in future meet on the 4th Monday of each month bar August & December.
Gosport Museum & Art Gallery (GMAG) is not open to the public on Mondays, so we enter through the side door.
As there will probably only be one member of GMAG staff in the building, please meet at the side entrance shortly before 2pm & all enter together if possible.

Philosophy is the study of fundamental questions about existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, & language.
It involves critical examination of beliefs & concepts, aiming to understand the nature of reality & our place within it.
Philosophers seek to clarify ideas, explore ethical dilemmas, & examine the principles that guide human thought & behaviour.
It's fun, come & join us!
Members take it in turn to choose & present Topics, alone or in pairs. Presenting could be -
A PowerPoint Presentation, Talk or Short Film;
Saying a few words about a topic & opening it up for discussion;
Sending an article, essay, or thoughts to Tricia to distribute to members for discussion at the next meeting;
Naming a topic, asking members to research it & bring their thoughts to the next meeting.
We leave open the possibility of Topics below, changing to accommodate current events.
This Group works as a collective with no Group Co-ordinator. Please use the link above to email Tricia, who deals with admin & communications for the Philosophy Group.
