This started a beginners' group, but as we have completed the course and had some practice we are now improvers. So if you would like to join us we can take new members.

Beginners are very welcome as we can explain the 'how and why' as we discuss the clues.

As well as continuing to solve crosswords we are trying our hand at setting cryptic crosswords, using all the techniques we have learned. (Our first one was printed in the 'u3a Matters.)

We are still working at a fairly slow pace, so the group is not suitable for experienced cryptic crossword solvers, but feel free to come and see if this group is for you. Contact Jennifer via the link above.
