The aim of the 50s and 60s music group is to introduce and play recordings from the golden age of popular music. Besides playing the hit tunes that we all remember, new and different songs and artists are introduced from this period so that members can discover the many hidden gems to be found.
Members are also treated to information about popular culture of the day as well as information about the singers and their songs.
The same presentation is given at both this and the Thursday group.
