This is a new group starting on Tuesday 21st July

Whether you already write or have always wanted to give it a try, this group aims to offer a warm, supportive space to explore all kinds of writing — fiction, poetry, memoir, family history, local memories, letters, observation and writing simply for pleasure. The aim is to encourage ideas, share work if you wish, and enjoy the process of writing together. Interested? Then please contact Bill via the link above.

Meeting on 21st July 2026: you are asked to write a one-minute talk on what they would like to get out of the group. Bill asked those that showed an interest in the creation of this new group to complete a survey, the results of which will be discussed at the meeting. One of the members will be bringing materials relating to Amazon publishing.

The first full session is likely to set the direction the group want to go.
